Guidelines for Building with Reusable Materials

Aaron Tvrdy

Aaron TvrdySince a very young age I have been interested in how things are put together. Growing up in rural Nebraska gave me the opportunity and resources to explore the possibilities of endless materials as well as the knowledge to create realistic solutions. This exploration along with several key mentors led me to architecture. I received my Undergraduate degree in Science and Design from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in May 2005, and recently received my Masters of Architecture. In graduate school I concentrated on reusable materials and limiting waste. I have always found the adaptive reuse of unique buildings fascinating. This interest helped me take these principles to a unique level in my competition submission.
